Xeomin®

Xeomin® Treatment

Xeomin® is a non-surgical wrinkle-relaxing treatment that can be used to rejuvenate your facial appearance. This cosmetic injection is a facial treatment highly recommended for men and women with extensive neuromodulator use. Xeomin® is free of accessory proteins, making its formulation purer than that of Botox® and Dysport®.

Sherisse Hill, RN, MSN, ARNP, FNP(C), is a top provider of Xeomin® in Issaquah, Washington. She is renowned for her aesthetic expertise and ability to deliver natural-looking results that both honor and enhance each patient’s unique look.

What Is Xeomin®?

This innovative, FDA-approved injectable neuromodulator contains botulinum toxin type A, the same active ingredient in Botox®, Daxxify®, and Dysport®. Xeomin® is best known for effectively smoothing away vertical wrinkles between the brows and horizontal forehead lines, but it can also be used to target lip lines, crow’s feet, and bunny lines.

In addition to releasing facial wrinkles, Sherisse can administer Xeomin® injections to resolve a range of other aesthetic concerns. The common Xeomin® treatments include

  • TMJ relief
  • Jawline contouring
  • Chin dimpling
  • Neck lines
  • Neck tightening
  • Non-surgical brow lifts
  • Downturned smiles
  • Gummy smiles
  • Nose slimming

What to Expect During Xeomin® Treatment Injections

After identifying the optimal injection sites for your facial treatment, Sherisse will use a fine-gauge needle to administer the Xeomin® injections. A topical anesthetic can be applied before your injections to minimize discomfort, though many patients do not find this necessary.

Xeomin® Aftercare

Xeomin® is a no-downtime cosmetic treatment, so most patients can get back to work and their daily activities right away. Take care not to rub the treatment area for the first three to four hours after your injections. You will also want to avoid engaging in strenuous exercise for 24 hours, as doing so sooner can cause the injected product to migrate.

Post-treatment tenderness, redness, or swelling can occur at the injection sites. These symptoms are usually mild and subside on their own in a short time.

Xeomin® Results

With Xeomin®, you can anticipate noticeable improvements within a week, with optimal results manifesting in three to four weeks. Xeomin® provides temporary enhancement, so retreatment is usually recommended at intervals of three to four months, depending on the patient’s unique response to the treatment.
