A topical numbing cream can also be used to ensure maximum comfort during the injection process. She will locate the ideal injection sites, walking you through the procedure and expectations, then perform the Botox® facial treatment.
What to Expect After Botox® Injections
No dedicated recovery period is required after receiving Botox® for wrinkles, face slimming, or other facial treatments. In fact, many patients choose to have Botox® treatments over their lunch break and return to work after their appointment. Post-treatment, you may experience minor swelling or redness at the injection sites. These symptoms typically resolve on their own in a short time.
